What are your names and professions? Mikko Häkkinen, Samu Härkönen, Henri Vironen, Leevi Pursiainen. We are construction students. And what is your name and profession? My name is Antti Savenius, and I am car mechanic student. Where are you from? We are from different towns of South-East Finland: Mikkeli, Juva ad Pieksämäki. We all study at Esedu vocational secondary school. How long was your internship in Hungary? It was 4 weeks long. Why did you choose Hungary as internship country? Other Finnish students, who had already been here before, said that Hungary is a very nice place. We wanted to know more about Hungarian culture. What did you know about Hungary before the journey? We knew not too much about the country. For example, we know the name of the capital, Budapest, and the famous Hungarian drink, pálinka. Have you learnt anything new about Hungary? Yes, for example, people are very friendly. We’ve learnt some Hungarian words, for example, igen, nem, köszönöm, jó napot, egészségedre. We have experienced some traditions, habits, and tasted some Hungarian meals and drinks. Where did you spend your internship period? We spent it at two companies in Békéscsaba. One of them is the LBL construction Ltd., and the other one is the Meszlényi-Car Ltd. Toyota garage. Are you satisfied with the host company? Yes we are, because our workmates are very friendly. What have you learnt in the company? Have you learnt new things? Not much. The processes are quite similar. We practiced same things like at home. Have you made new friends during the internship period? Yes, we got some new friends in Békéscsaba. What did you do during your free time? We were walking in the city, visited some pubs, and we also were hanging out with our Hungarian friends and playing billiard. Today we are visiting a Romanian city, Solymosvár, as well. Which was the best and the worst part of your time in Hungary? The best part is: Békéscsaba, especially in the evenings, is a very beautiful place. And meetings with our new friends. The worst part is: People do not want to speak English a lot. Would you like to come back to Hungary later? Absolutely yes, because we got many Hungarian friends.   28-04-2016
