There is a new fusion in Hungary among vocational schools from 1st July 2015. There are 44 new centers for vocational, secondary vocational schools around the country. In Békés county there are 2 centers, one in Gyula and another one in Békéscsaba. 

In Békéscsaba town the official name of the vocational center is: Békéscsaba Center of Vocational Training (short Hungarian name is BSZC). The main maintenance body of the center is the Hungarian Ministry for National Economy. The BSZC consists of eight member schools and a headquarters unit with the operational and financial management. Every member school has its own director with own structure for the management of the VET. The schools offer more learning possibilities for young and adult people as well.

There are 7111 students and 850 staff members all together in these schools. There is a wide range of variety of vocational schools under one roof with 43 different training areas and 240 professions.

New mobility partnership in Vietnam

Between 18-22 September 2023 a delegation from Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City with a population of ten million visited Békéscsaba in Hungary. The members of the delegation represented one of the country's largest and most successful tourism service providers, the Saigontourist Group, and its tourism school, the Saigontourist Hospitality College. The purpose of the visit was to sign the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Békéscsaba Center of Vocational Training and the Saigontourist Hospitality College, thus establishing the long-term professional cooperation between the two institutions...
